So I've noticed some decked-out houses with an ample amount of Halloween decorations that have been out since Oct 1. When is it the appropriate time to start decorating for Halloween/any holiday?
It all marketing.
I think decorating for a holiday should be done no more than 2 weeks beforehand.

thank you! that was what I was thinking but it seems like every time I go into a drugstore, there is a line of parents with Halloween apparel. I thought maybe I was waiting till the last minute but I think 2 weeks is a good time too.
