The best book, and the one that has helped me the most in life I did not read... I picked up the book, which was a college text book on loan to my brother, I opened it up and read a single line that has stuck with me for forty years... All change is an attempt at problem solving...

People who think they have no problem will not change...

It helped me to realize that change is a natural and necessary part of life, that our lives are within our power, that we can adapt to defeat problems...

But this story is all me, that I find the most remarkable wisdom in some very unlikely places... I once picked up a kids book of jokes and found this pearl: How do you keep from losing your hair??? Well, you put a name tag in your toupee.... I have got more laughs from balding guys with that dumb joke... Everyone is so insecure... Laughter is the best defense life has given us... It's a joke man; Get it???
