Hello everyone! I am currently dating a window, she's 30, her husband passed away unexpectedly 3 months ago. We have a great friendship, I really feel we love each other. However, at times, she seems to be too sad, and she questions herself about being ready to enter into a new realtionship. Everybody I know has told me it is too soon for her to date. What do you think?

3 months ago?
unexpectedly?

Boyfriend - she is in shock.
You are just comforting her.
Don't believe for a minute that you are "dating" or in love.

When she draws the shades on the window, that means give her time.

@CalamityJane,
the ones that are double-hung are moody.

@dyslexia,
You can perk them up with nice window coverings.

draped windows ruin the view.

Yes, sorry about my English. I meant "widow". Is there a way to edit the subject?

@axioma,
Sorry, we were kidding around a bit.

Her husband just died 3 months ago, that is way too soon for her to have
another relationship. You need to give her time, be a friend, be there for her
but do not expect anything in return, at least not for the time being.

@axioma,
It is too soon for her, she is vulnerable, lonely, at a loss as to what she wants or needs. She is young and in shock. I am a widow and I know that 3 months is like yesterday to a women in pain. She needs your support and friendship anything beyond that is not real (right now).

@axioma,
Hi, I've been a widow 6 years and met a widower whose wife passed away 4 months ago. He is in shock and I'm giving him time. The real problem is that it takes time to let go of a deceased partner. She and my friend are probably still in love with them. She will want a new partner but be patient.
