This morning, FX announced that Reno 911!'s Tom Lennon and Ben Garant will produce a pilot for U.S.S. Alabama, a part-scripted, part-improvised comedy that "takes place in space with a crew of space-farers that are about as smart as the Reno! cops," according to FX president and GM John Landgraf.
