Software Testing

Hi,
I have done my MCA and got 10 months of exp in s/w development (web development). As i am finding difficulty in coding, am planning to do a crash course on software Testing. So please guide me whether this domain require to program/code in order to test the application as am new to software Testing. Some of the institute suggested me to go QTP, Load Runner and Winrunner as they have a complete package and which last for 2 months... Also please suggest whether this field considers MCA and also let me know job openings after 2 months...
