My iPod happened to shuffle a nice little mix for me during my commute this morning:

Messin' With the Kid--The Saints
No Action--Elvis Costello
The First Girl I Loved--John Hartford
Thirteen--Big Star
Baby It's You--The Shirelles
Black Umbrellas--Broadcast
Winter Love--Robyn Hitchcock
Someday, After Awhile--Freddie King
Word From Our Sponsor--Boogie Down Productions
Weekend--The Dictators

Thirteen into Baby It's You was particularly brilliant. Nice work, iPod!

Nat Adderly Quintet-What is This Thing Called Love

The ipod shuffle is amazing, isn't it??? I can't figure it out. Is there some formula for it's music selections or what? It boggles the mind.

The sound of silence.

BTW I was in a hotel at the weekend, and I strongly complained about their wish to play muzak at breakfast. Who wants to breakfast in a disco? Not me.
I hate muzak. Canned music is everywhere, and it's not good.

Why don't you stop listening to crap, and listen to your own thoughts instead?

Unless they're telling you to murder the man next to you with a big knife, I mean.
