Is a "White Student Awareness Committee" racist?

@ndjs,
Well...I started one at my school as well. Been meaning to for a while, but this pushed me to is. There is now a WSAC MSU chapter lol. I'm interested to see what kinda comments I end up getting out of this. I personally grew up a minority, surrounded by more than double the percentage of african americans than caucasian people. I feel there is a need to show that we, too, have pride in our race, and are not scared to show it. The way I see it, the african american race is being given priority and advantages over the caucasian race. My reasons behind this are because when I was entering college, there were at least double the amount of local scholarships devoted to solely african americans than whites. I applied for a few, knowing I would never get one, and never did. I must say though, in defense, I have a friend that signed up for a minority scholarship in my county, and got it. She simply stated the facts and followed the rules and they couldn't turn her down with the grades and such she had.

Did you start it in Facebook or in your university? The africans and now the mexicans and every other group is given an avantage from a percieved advantage with caucansians. It's that stupid affirmative action working it's magic. They claim it is forbidin you cannot discriminate but yet all of there organizations are based on discriminating? They do not hire the best person for the job. They hire sexually/ethnically first if there is that percieved advantage. When you apply for anything having to do with the government what is the first thing they ask? Name, Sex, Race. What does sex and race have to do with getting a job or asistance? If there going by qualifications? Nothing! If the qualification is because your black that's discrimination!

@ndjs,
more d.r.a.m.a. haha. I'll update the first post again.

I hate the fact that they create an organization, and I create one on the exact same premise, changing ONE WORD. and omfg it's racist.

Yup, if two people are applying for a job, one is a white male, the other, and african american female. They have the exact same credentials and such, no matter what, the job must go to the female. Kinda ridiculous to me.

@ndjs,
well, because they automatically assume I'm a blank slate white guy, I am going to change my facebook picture to something that represents my heritage a little better. I actually am part Cherokee and part Mexican.

LOL, nice pics. That Danielle has got an atitude big time. Amazing how you can twist your life when you have so much pity for yourself. I bet she is a life long fan of Al Sharpton. The king of pity partys.

@ndjs,
I'm now a poster on her site. It's kinda funny, they were getting along just fine telling their opinions when they were all in agreement. I'm making them think and defend what they're doing...it makes her mad.
Basically, she keeps playing the race card saying I'm white and it's all my fault lol.

@ndjs,
They have to stay emotional to perpetuate there fear. Thats how the Liberals and some democrats keep them in line. I'd be very surprised if any of them claimed any other affiliation much less say they were conservative or a repug? They have to keep them fighting amungst themselves and others so they never see the logic. Take Steele for example, he gets pelted with oreos, gets called sambo, uncle tom and all from blacks? There taught to fear change but at the same time to fight religiously on the same pretext.
It's humorous that they accually blame you for the way you were brought up? When they were taught to hate you by the same conviction of there parents.

@ndjs,
It's humorous that because of my skin color they think it's all my fault. I feel like George Bush.

The white man isn't keeping the black man down anymore. The black man is keeping himself down.

"First of all, NO policemen ever came to our BBQ last year and shut it down. I am sure that you never complained about other events that occured in the area. You may not know that you are being racist, but it is clear by your ignorant comments that you are. I don't understand how you think that this group is a joke. How dare you degrade an organization such as the BLACK STUDENT AWARENESS COMMITTEE. We excel beyond all expectations. How could you offend an organization that brings so many positive things to this campus? What events have you attended? I'm sure, NONE! If you are so proud of your race, then I challenge you to move forward with trying to establish this on campus. I am positive that it will never pass. You should never talk about things that you don't know about. I promise you, BSAC is NOT the group to mess with. On behalf of the Executive Board of the BLACK STUDENT AWARENESS COMMITTEE, we would love to chit chat with the creator, officers, and any members who feel so passionately about this. We feel you have a lot to learn about our culture. It is imperative that you learn to live PEACEFULLY in this society with "US", because "WE" are here to stay, just like you. And finally, for future references DO NOT refer to us as BLACK SAC -- strictly BSAC or the BLACK STUDENT"
Racism is to exclude someone from any form of treatment due to his or her genetic inheretence. Is it just me or do the words "US" and "WE" apear quite alot in her statements, and not only as a referal to "BSAC".
