How could you have such a poll without the classic option included..... peanut butter and mayonnaise.

Nary a day goes by that I don't indulge in a peanut butter and mayo sandwich.

The good life.

It's funny, Ceili, but my mother used to pack us peanut butter and American cheese sandwiches for school. Haven't had one in a while--and I wondered if she'd invented the thick concoction. Perhaps not...

Now it's peanut butter on toast, usually alone, but sometimes with marmalade.

Oh it takes Fluff, Fluff, Fluff
To make a Fluffernutter
Fluff, Fluff, Fluff and lots of peanut butter.

And just to make it even scarier...

That white creamy goo is made in Slappy's home town!

Peanut butter and sliced apple sandwich.

Peanut butter and sweet pickle sandwich.

Peanut butter and hot bacon sandwich.

Peanut butter and fried balogna sandwich.

Peanut butter and potato chip sandwich.

All yummy!

The worst peanut butter combination? Peanut butter, tuna and egg noodle casserole when we were kids . Still makes me shudder just thinking about it.

Eww...if it's good peanut butter, it should be just on it's own. I give kudos to honey, bananas, and my homemade jam, but bacon?? Cheese?? These traditions I am not familiar with. Now peanut butter and Vegemite....that's a concoction.

Have any of you had natural peanut butter topped with a blob of sour cream? My super market makes the peanut butter fresh daily. Nothing else in it but peanuts. Heavenly! Very Happy

Peanut butter and honey. A hunk of 2-year old cheddar HAS to be on the side.

Peanut butter and honey was a good choice by Ehbeth, but I still see no votes for peanut butter and mayonnaise. Believe me folks, if you haven't tried it, give it a shot. It really is quite good.

hmmmmmmmm, i've actually SEEN people having PB and mayo. I've never really been tempted to ask for a bite of that sarnie.

If I'm gonna go to the mayo - then I'd like some ham and chicken and baby swiss and rye bread underneath it.

ooooooooooohhhhh - forgot to mention one of my friend's kid's favourite treats at Auntie Beth's house. PB and jam on white - which I then whack into the waffle iron for about 2 minutes. Little pockets of warm PB and jam, oozing out from the squished white bread. Paradise for small people. Messy too. Very Happy
