I have heard that story, but I never heard K tell it.
I like the one he told when he dissolved the Order of the Star of the East. God and the Devil were walking along when the looked down and saw someone had found a piece of the truth. "There" said God "Trouble for you. He's found a piece of the truth".
"Not at all" said the Devil. "I'll let him organise it".
