When we describe social order within the bounds of society how would we describe it?

When we say that social order is necessary what exactly do we mean by this?

Finally it has come to my observation that what is called social order or unity exists solely around mythological narratives not to mention that when people come under control of others and even when they come together socially fear is the main element of cohesion in society.
