Let's look at it this way. If YOU had a hard lump near your penis, what would you do?

I, having gone through cancer many years ago, take lumps very seriously. It may or may not be anything serious. But you will never know until you take the dog to the vet!

Our dog has a lump behind one of his ears. It concerned us, so we took him to our vet who confirmed it's nothing to be alarmed about...just a fat deposit.

My advice would be to have him checked out...you'll just worry until you do. Plus, if it does turn out to be something more serious, it's best to catch these things early.
