Seriously?

The oil plug lays on it's side so if I put the oil in while the tiller is upright the oil will just pour back out. Do I put the tiller on it's side to put the oil in and if I do how much and won't the gas start pouring out? I see no oil and no oil is pouring out. When I start it it smokes.

@Amigo,
you are prolly looking at the drain plug...

don't put it on it's side.

edit:

ok. i moved your photo around and looked closely.

the oil fill plug is the grey plastic plug angled down in front by the handle/guard.

repeat, do not tip it over.

(this causes it to smoke...)

@Amigo,
see above^^^^^^

they are angled so you can't overfill 'em.

unless you turn it on it's side.....

@Amigo,
Honda makes a good little engine. and 30W is proper. Ive got a couple Cub Cadet garden implements that use Honda engines and the manuals give a blow up of the engine and all the plugs. Doesnt your tiller have a manual?

Or did you steal this one?
