this is gonna be a real tough next round for me

if boston wins, my two teams i liked as a kid are in (chicago & boston)

i could kiss each and every member of the sharks for destroying the red wings (my greatest and possibly worst moment, being in a local bar and making a girl cry while i sang "do you know the way to san jose" the last time the sharks dumped the wings)

and of course as a canadian i should probably support the home team

all this and Lost is sucking more and more as the end nears

@mars90000000,
i wanted quantum physics more than a new age (old testament) mythology, i suppose it could still be a bit of both, but it' seems to be veering towards the mythology more

sorry, not trying to derail the topic

Yes.
You must root for the Bruins to beat the Flyers Friday and then sweep

I've been around for a lot of that history.

I have friend who lives in in Montreal and every year when either of our
teams falls out of the playoffs, the loser's phone rings. I really want to
be the guy who makes that call this year.

Riot police in Montreal moved in to quell rowdy mobs that began smashing windows and looting stores following the celebration of the Canadiens' playoff win against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Thousands of people poured into the streets Wednesday night to celebrate the win, and most people were peaceful, a police spokesman said.

But police fired tear gas and pepper spray as they marched down Ste-Catherine Street to break up the crowd as some people were throwing bottles at officers and storefronts. At least 30 people were arrested.

The RDI television network showed youths breaking into and looting a number of shops, including a Foot Locker store. Some tossed clothes from the store onto the street and the items were quickly scooped up by those in the vicinity.

Some had donned hoods and masks to conceal their identities.......
