When it does finally start up, remember to leave it on. That way you won't have to go through all the trouble next time.
There may be repercussions, but none come to mind at the moment.

Ok, that was super funny. I saw this under the "featured threads" on the right hand side and when I glanced at it I swear I thought it said "Anyone know why my mom won't heat up?" God I need a vacation.

Osso, I'm old enough now that when I try to be "bad" I'm no more than pitiful.
Speaking of the arrival of spring, it was 96 degrees here yesterday, but I didn't notice. Can't say why.

Good luck with finding a small appliance repair shop. The last one I knew of in Cincinnati went out of business years ago. Nobody makes anything that's repair-able any more. If the glass container on your coffee maker breaks, you have to buy a whole new coffee maker. You can't even get replacement carafes or whatever they're called (sorry, CRS syndrome).
