please look at this ...

The newly developed choreography methodology, which is anticipated to launch the repertory company to the next level of artistic innovation, will be able to accommodate a broader range of dance styles than the current curriculum can, and with more creative latitude.

what is a 'repertory company' ? I'm stuck with the meaning.

@tintin,
repertory company is a group of performing artists, in this case dancers that perform a certain set of dances over its working season.

Quote:
rep⋅er⋅to⋅ry  [rep-er-tawr-ee, -tohr-ee]
"noun, plural -ries.
1. a type of theatrical presentation in which a company presents several works regularly or in alternate sequence in one season.
2. a theatrical company that presents productions in this manner.

@tsarstepan,
Repertory is not just over a season. The works must also occur during the same time period. Many theater companies produce several works over a season but they don't do them in repertory because they close one show before opening the next.

A theater or dance company that is "in rep" will have 2 or more shows running at the same time and usually on the same performance stage.
For instance a theater may do "Hamlet" on Tues, Wed and then "A Midsummer's Night Eve" on Thurs, Friday and then Hamlet again on Saturday, Sunday and repeat this for a few weeks with different shows on different days.
