# need help on a riddle

Mon 8 Feb, 2010 10:47 am
Hello,
I'm stuck on a challenge.
It's called "leet"; you have to find a solution made only of min letters, and that satisfies a check function. I'm pretty sure I found the letters but I cant find the good anagram.
I tried many anagrams already, like "radnetslang", "nerdatslang"... but I'm not native english speaker, and even with an anagram list I couldn't find the good one.
Someone who knows the solution told me that the word "slang" is not in the solution, but the letters are.
There are at least two words in the solution.
It's probably leet related, but not written in leet.
Thank you for helping me !

I don't really understand what a "leet" is or what the "check function" is so I don't get the puzzle but

DANGER SLANT

is one anagram of the letters given.....

@boomerang,
Hello!
"leet" is kind of a written language that looks like this : "1337 5P34K"
check out wikipedia, it's good to know about it.
The check function is in this case a javascript function that checks if the multiplication of the ascii codes of the letters is equal to a given number.
It doesn't matter for my question, as I already solved this part.
Thanks a lot for your try, DANGER SLANT looks like a good answer, I tried it, but it isn't the awaited solution sorry.
I think it's really leet related, and maybe with non official english words, like slang words...
Thx a lot anyway.

@GreenBioman,
Well this leet business is a STRANGE LAND to me!

Interesting though.

Working with the "-age" suffix I can almost make it work with the verb "strand" to make STRANDAGE but I have "L" and "N" left over.....

@boomerang,
thank you for trying
I've already tried most combinations I got from online anagram solvers.
Maybe there is a weird word, or I just can't see the solution.
