PONTIAC, Mich. (WJBK) - Former Detroit Lion Reggie Rogers is about to be sentenced for his sixth DUI charge.
His record dates back decades including a 1988 crash that killed three local teenagers.
We talked to the father of one of his victims.
Video from the Fox 2 archives shows Reggie Rogers heading to court in November of 1988 wearing a brace after causing a horrific crash in Pontiac that killed 19 year old Kenny Willett and two of his cousins. Rogers was drunk behind the wheel, but he served less than 13 months in prison for negligent homicide........

The business partner of disgraced British fashion designer John Galliano died from a cocaine overdose, it has been revealed four years after his death.
A manslaughter trial was held after 38-year-old Steven Robinson's body was found at his flat in Paris in 2007.
But those involved used France’s strict privacy laws to make sure it was never publicised.
Galliano has maintained that Mr Robinson - who worked with him at House of Dior - died of a heart attack, but it has now been revealed that he gave evidence at the trial.

A second suspect pleaded guilty Friday in the 2007 murder of a Memphis tattoo artist
Princeton Price, 20, was sentenced to 20 years without parole after he pleaded guilty to facilitation to commit first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery in the death of Chianne Gast, 32.
Co-defendant Jeremy Young, 21, pleaded guilty earlier this month to first-degree murder and was sentenced to life without parole.
Gast was shot and killed July 21, 2007, at Top Shelf Tattoos, 6415 Summer.
Her husband, Michael Gast, was beaten and robbed during the incident
Trial dates haven’t been set for three other defendants, Talandus McCoy, 22, Jamal Williams, 22, and Rashanda Clark, 20

It was around 7:30 a.m. on September 26, 2005, when Angela Boyle walked out the door of her Southaven, Mississippi apartment headed to work.
The 20-year-old woman made a quick stop to see her boyfriend, who was staying in the same apartment complex. Angela said goodbye to her boyfriend and was walking to her car, when police say a man named Andre Davis approached her. Police say Angela knew Davis through her boyfriend, but probably couldn't have imagined what was about to happen next.
Detectives say Davis quickly grabbed Angela by her hair and began dragging her toward his car nearby. Police say the savage attack continued as Davis pulled out a handgun and began beating Angela in the head with the weapon. When Davis reached his car, police say he climbed into the driver's seat. Investigators say Davis then fired a shot into Angela's chest at point blank range before casually driving off. Witnesses heard the gunfire and called 911. Ambulances raced to the scene, but by the time they arrived, Angela was already dead.

The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals unanimously upheld the August 2004 capital murder conviction of Beunka Adams Wednesday.
Adams and his accomplice, Richard Cobb, both Cherokee County residents, were sentenced to death for the murder of Kenneth Wayne Vandever in September 2002. Cobb’s appeal came before the state court of appeals in February of 2007, and was likewise denied.
Adams was sentenced to death by lethal injection for what began as an aggravated robbery and culminated in the execution-style killing of Vandever. Cobb and Adams robbed the BDJ’s convenience store in Rusk and kidnapped Vandever (a customer) and two store clerks, Candice Driver and Nikki Ansley Dement.......

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WXYZ) - Ann Arbor Police are trying to find out if an early morning assault on a young man is also a hate crime.

The beating took place near the intersection of E. University and S. University and it involved eight assailants.

Police suspect the 22-year-old victim, who is white, and a friend of his were followed by the group of mostly black men as they left Backroom Pizza on Church Street near the University of Michigan campus.

The victim told investigators that the men hurled derogatory names based on his race and perceived sexual orientation before and during the beating. The victim was left with cuts and bruises but, reportedly, refused medical treatment.

Nothing was taken from the victim and his friend was not harmed.

One of the attackers was seen holding a knife and as the victim's friend tried pulling him to safety, police say, the attackers took off on foot.

Of the eight attackers, we're told six are black. One is white and one is hispanic.
