FRANKLIN, Ind. — An Indianapolis man has been sentenced to 120 years in prison for the murders of a Central Indiana couple in their home last summer.
WISH (Channel 8) reports (http://bit.ly/Klskoh) Justin L. Carter pleaded guilty to two counts of murder in March.
A Greenwood couple,
57-year-old Steven Konchinsky and his 54-year-old wife, Julia, were found fatally shot in their home on July 16.....

The gunman who went on a shooting rampage Wednesday afternoon on the city's Northeastside, killing one woman and himself and injuring three others, has been identified as 30-year-old Michael Anderson, of Indianapolis.
The woman killed was identified as
Alicia Koehl, 45, Indianapolis, an employee of the apartment complex.
The other victims were Jacob Wiseman, 30, Beech Grove, who residents said is the lead maintenance man for the complex; Charlene Sanders, 61, Indianapolis, who residents said is the complex manager; and Villa Paree resident Stephanie Bellamy, 29. .......

DUNEDIN, Florida - A retired couple says they're relieved after a suspect was arrested for his alleged involvement in their brutal robbery.
But
Robert and Paula Babcock also say they know the man, who used to do odd jobs for them.
Authorities said they are still looking for other suspects..........

Tampa, Florida - ...
Andrew Gwaltney had no way of knowing that he would be attacked with a stun gun near his South Tampa home, just a mile from Westshore Plaza. It happened last Tuesday night around 10:30.
After Andrew was hit, the attacker took his $200, his iPhone and left the 28-year-old with a deadly threat.
Sadly, the attacker struck four times just last week. He struck twice on May 22nd, then again on May 23rd and 29th.
The attacker is described as a black man in his mid-20s

Tampa, Florida-- After three years of waiting, Kevin and JoAnne McCall finally received the news that a suspect is behind bars and accused of murdering their son.
Tampa police say 22-year-old David Earl Williams robbed and killed University of Tampa student,
Ryan McCall, back in 2009.
Investigators say Williams is a career criminal. He is already behind bars doing time on a burglary charge in Dade County.
He's been in and out of the system since the age of 11..............

"It never crossed my mind once to kill her," he said through an Albanian interpreter. "I feel responsible. I feel sorry for my wife. I feel sorry for my children. ... I ask for forgiveness from my children for everything that happened."
His children, who were 11 and 16 when at the time of the Dec. 5, 2009, incident, did not attend the sentencing. They testified against their father at his November jury trial.
Judge Matthew Switalski of Macomb County Circuit Court in Mount Clemens sentenced Nazarko in the upper half of the sentencing guideline range, 162 to 270 months.
"He's probably a decent, hardworking man, if you're not married to him," Switalski said.
Assistant Macomb prosecutor Therese Tobin asked Switalski to imprison him above the range because of the devastating impact on the children, his lack of remorse and failure to take full responsibility, testifying at the trial that his wife should shoulder some of the blame.
"He called them (police) to 'come pick her up' like she was a piece of garbage," Tobin said. "The only remorse he's shown is with his children."
His defense attorney, Carl Marlinga, didn't refute the impact on the children but said Nazarko's inability to articulate well in English prevented him from fully expressing his remorse.
"He has an inability to express remorse in a different language through a translator," Marlinga said. It's a very difficult thing. Obviously they were in a difficult marriage but he loved her greatly."

PEORIA — Carlos R. Hightower, 31, and
Shauna C. Parks, 30, both of 2912 N. Mission Road, were pronounced dead shortly before 5 a.m. Sunday at their residence, according to Peoria County Coroner Johnna Ingersoll.
The man's brother called 911 shortly after 4 a.m. to ask officers to check on the welfare of the couple, according to police.
Officers arrived to find Hightower's body in the home's driveway with what authorities believe was a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head, according to Ingersoll. A handgun was found lying near the body, she said.
Parks' body was discovered nearby inside the home's unattached garage. An autopsy performed Sunday showed that she died of multiple gunshot wounds...........

A man charged with shooting and killing his estranged wife and her unborn child will go to trial on June 11.
Jessie Phillips is charged with two counts of capital murder in the shooting death of
23-year-old Erica Droze and her unborn baby.
It happened February 27, 2009 at the Lakeside Carwash in Guntersville.

If this thread was dedicated to re-listing every white on black lynching in history, along with photos of the black victims and white perps, Jeffrey and kobereal24 would have no problem with it at all. Remember the Media's unspoken rule: "The Officially Designated Victim Class must not be shown to have victims of their own." AKRON, Ohio - Quick-thinking forensic experts cracked an Akron murder mystery after spotting a tiny clue that was hiding in plain sight.
Eighty-five-year-old Julianna Grna and her 43-year-old son were bludgeoned to death in their Akron home in July 2009. But police were left with no fingerprints, no eyewitnesses and no murder weapon.
It seemed as if the case would go unsolved until a forensic expert with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification spotted tiny pieces of paper on the bathroom floor........

MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- A pizza delivery man was left brain dead after being robbed and attacked while delivering food in Moreno Valley.
Investigators said the Pizza Hut delivery man, 36-year-old Patrick Kasper, went to a house in the 22800 block of Adrienne Avenue carrying $90 worth of food around 9 p.m. Thursday.
The delivery man told deputies he was ambushed after knocking on the door.
Kasper told family members that two to three teenagers attacked him, punched him, knocked him out and stole the food. When deputies went to investigate, they discovered the house was vacant.
Kasper drove back to his Pizza Hut location, then went home. The next morning, his mother heard him in his bedroom struggling to breathe. He was rushed to the hospital, but doctors told the family he had suffered a severe aneurysm in his brain. Kasper was pronounced legally brain dead. .....

INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis man has been sentenced to 65 years in prison for murdering his landlord.
John Butsch, 59, was found dead in his Woodruff Place home in the historic near-east side neighborhood in April 2011.
Police said Allen Parker, 25, who rented a neighboring unit from Butsch, beat and strangled his landlord......
