Man shot and killed in neighborhood altercation

SANFORD, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Investigators with the Sanford Police Department are still trying to figure out exactly what happened during an altercation which resulted in a fatal shooting in the Twin Lakes area. The shooting happened just after 7 p.m. Sunday evening on Twin Trees Lane.

A man who witnessed part of the altercation contacted authorities.

"The guy on the bottom, who had a red sweater on, was yelling to me, 'Help! Help!' and I told him to stop, and I was calling 911," said the witness, who asked to be identified only by his first name, John.

John said he locked his patio door, ran upstairs and heard at least one gun shot.

"And then, when I got upstairs and looked down, the guy who was on the top beating up the other guy, was the one laying in the grass, and I believe he was dead at that point.".......

A Tallahassee woman, Ashleigh Jacobs, was beaten and then shot several times at extremely close range in the back of the head.The victim was last seen leaving a party with Jarvis McBride.

Police say that DNA from Jarvis was found underneath the fingernails of the Ashleigh.

Every day we see new horrors in the news about white females who were murdered while dating or even just hanging out with black men.

White females who are married to black men are a staggering 12.4 times more likely to be murdered by their husbands than white females married to white men.

59 year old Frank Matta went to break up a party of teenagers at a house he was looking after in Spokane, WA last week. While there a black teenager Trevan Lewis punched him in the face several times, putting him in critical condition. He died today from his wounds.

Michael Vizkelety, a 48-year-old white male, died Monday, March 19, after being stabbed in Woodland Hills, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
