Ok, I was told this was the place to go for answers and what do I discover? Nothing!

No one knows where elks go to die!

You people should be ashamed of your reputation.

I never said I was an expert in where elks go to die.

Harrumph!!!

Anyhoo, I suspect it varies.

If they have a cardiac arrest, or a severe stroke, I assume they die wherever they happen to be at the time.

If they have time to think, they probably have a nice lie down somewhere they feel safe, and are surprised by death there.

They are likely surprised when hit by cars.

Tarzan films are not always the most reliable indicators of the habits of large quadrupeds.

I hope that's not poison ivy.

Joe(I'd be happy to have a look-see.)Nation

PS: Thank you, Setanta, for bringing up the ELKS (wrong) ELK (Correct) subject. Next they will be asking if the trouts and basses are in season.

You sillly man you.

Elks go to Elkland, California and they stand patiently out on the runway waiting for some airplane to hit them.

Any more silly questions? I have the market on silly questions answers.
