importing images from photoshop cs4 to flash cs4 for animation

I want to animate an image of a person in flash cs4 by using inverse kinetics feature I understand I have to segment the image in different layers before importing to flash, what format do they have to be in ? can I put them all in one folder then import? do they have to imported separately?
