Latin Poem Translation!

I was wondering if anyone would be able to accurately translate my favourite poem as I wanted to have it bound and give it as a gift to my girlfriend starting Uni taking a module in Latin and finding it difficult, it is:

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

It wouldnt hurt for maybe someone else to double check it for me as I dont want her to become fluent one day and find out I did it wrong! Smile

All the best, thanks in advance -x-

I'll give it a shot.
I can only do a couple of lines at a time, though.

"All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;"

Omnia aura non fulgent,
Non omnes vagantes deerrant;

Vetum valente non marcet,
Radices profundae gelu non tanguntur.

From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;

Ex cinere ignis excitabitur,
Ex tenebris lux saliet;

Lamina fracta renovabitur,
Sine corona rex rursum erit.

Thank you, Mr. Language Guy!
Now let's do it as a Latvian song.
(I hear you can do that in your sleep.)
