i've got pictures of ex's, not ones that anybody has asked to have back

most of them are party pics so there are other people in them not just the ex

In any case as we all or almost all of us have scanners there is no way you can place the genie back in the bottle even if he give the picture back.

I still have pictures of my ex's. It doesn't change my feelings for a new guy but reminds me where I was...and who I was at the time.

As Bill said, there's no practical reason to keep the original when photographs are so easy to scan and duplicate.
