Hi,
I would like to know if Jerry had an specific Group to play with him in his recording sessions ( just like Bill Haley/The Comets, Little Richard/The Up Setters, so on..) or were only studio musicians.

From his bio, he sounded like more of a writer, not a performer.
He had this one hit, then went on to be a successful writer for others.
Most likely, he had a studio group back him up. Not his own band or group.
