Careful Gala, I've been called a racist for saying far less 'hateful' things about Obama. Just yesterday in fact.

You're right though; he's a wimp and I'll add that he's also a hypocrite on this issue.

I think racism will always be the elephant in the room, understandably, too.

Only the first part is established as fact, the rest in conjecture. Has the state supreme court ethics panel decided to take up this case? Only if they do so, and rule that the judge violated the law can you make such claims. It may well be that what he did should be against the law, but it is not at all clear that it was.

What part is conjecture? Specifically.

An elected official did not do his duties admittedly due to his personal bias, and conservatives have rushed in to defend and the argument of accommodations has been used.

I don't have to wait for the ruling to state any of these things. These things are independent of the ruling.

It has yet to be shown that the JP violated the controlling legal authority, which is state law. Most everyone agree that he violated federal anti discrimination law, but even this has not been decided yet, they are looking at it. It may we me that state law was defective, not the JP. We are talking about Louisiana here for cripes sake, they are practically legendary down there for corruption and faulty administration of the law.

as for the second, I have yet to see anyone support the JP, red or blue. This is not a partisan issue.

It's all too ironic for me.

"How long before we starting "living out the true meaning" of our creeds, both civil and religious, that all men and women are created equal and that "red and yellow, black and white" all are precious in God's sight?"

OMG. With seriousness?

Red is at the first of his list too. Too frigging funny.

Do I think some of what he is saying is true, and has merit? For sure.

Do I think he is a douchbag with a degree? For sure.
