Just yesterday I thought I was reading a post by Roberta and it turned out to be Roger instead. Just as I was getting used to both of these posters having avatars of large cats, at least a couple of others changed their avatars, too. Now Sozobe and George have jumped on the bandwagon. And, of yes, djjd62. Anyone else?
What's going on here? Is this a new trend I was unaware of? Any day now I expect to see just a tiger's ear and find that Francis has changed his avvy.

Roberta's in the hospital -- just went through 9-hour brain surgery. We're sporting her avatar until she gets back.

No need to read the whole thing -- the last 3-4 pages have the important stuff. (She had the surgery and as per her friend Sheila, is doing well.)
Okay, well, that explains a lot. Payers and chants going up for Roberta as of now. (Don't think I'll post a puma for an avatar, though.)
I still can't see the new avatars, despite clearing my cache. I suppose I have to log out..
