I am a 51 yo. widow with 4 kids 23,21,18,15..I met an awesome man on a trip...he told me he was married..that did not stop us. one thing led to another and we are having a tepid affair. nobody has ever treated me better...i love this man...he has kids....what am i to do...??

You left off a lot of details here, so we're kind of flying blind. That said, if this guy is so great, why is he cheating on his wife and family? Sure he treats you great, you are the mistress. He leaves his dirty laundry at home. I think you should write this one off as a great fling and break it off before you get more involved and a lot of hearts get broken. My dad had a mistress, perhaps like you. They had great times until it finally broke apart my parent's marriage. Then said mistress started talking about marriage and dad promptly dumped her.

Love defies all reason and logic. Enjoy it while it lasts, because you have opened pandora's box, and these things nearly always blow up in your face.

However, there's no telling who will be with who when the dust settles, though one thing is for sure. Someone is going to get hurt.

I was thinking that maybe the person behind the nickname is a writer exploiting us to get some sense of reality in the characters of his plot.... So he is pretending to be in this relationship, both sides of it... Just trying to give him/her the benefit of the doubt Smile
