Our Rainsoft water softener is making a noise it usually makes right before regeneration, but it' been hours and it's not stopping. The display reads "2.............0" Any ideas?
bipass the unit ,unplug it right away or the motor could burn up, remove the battery , replace the orings on the piston, replace the broken shear pin and/or the cam follower. put it back together and reprogram
