When I attempt to cut & paste from an article on th Internet to my own document in MicrosoftWord, my computer will some times freeze up with an hourglass icon that does not go way. I get out of it only by going to "Start," then "Turn Off Computer."
Is there a way to prevent this problem and/or a better way to deal with it?
How much RAM do you have?
Sounds like your are trying to copy too much at once. Your computer can't handle it.
Consider copying smaller increments - or, increase RAM.
