Lukashenka is not so stupid not to understand that the EU won’t be too soft on dictatorship near its border – today they are on friendly terms with him, but tomorrow he’ll get kick up the rear. That’s why as soon as Belarus gets money from the EU this game in greater intimacy with the West will be over, you’ll see it!! And it will end with a scandal and dictator’s nervous philippics against European politicians. But as the saying goes, the barn door won’t be locked till after the horse is stolen. Europeans very soon will get added evidence in failure of their policy towards Belarus, based on empty promises of the Belarusian regime.
