5 or 6 feet in the air coming down from a flat footed jump and in the last 15 minutes of a 3 hour show last night. Anyone who thinks being in a show band isn't an athletic endeavor should re think.... if I say so myself... not bad for 60 years old.

Play Freebird!

<flicking my bic>

That is a great shot! It makes me feel ever so much better about my impending 49th birthday.

I recognized the pants.
Is that your real hair?

I'm kind of hoping that it is the singer's real head of hair. Maybe the most uplifting part of the entire photograph! Wink

What energy and fervor ...

...there is to maintain such a head of glorious hair! Wink

I feel exhausted just looking at the photograph, Bear!
So how did you shape up this morning after all this?

the girl who took the shot is the guitar players girlfriend... she takes hundreds of them at every gig ...she's extremely talented.

She has a wonderful eye and she sees things that other people miss.... she agonizes over every shot she takes... she'll work on a shot of my old ass as diligently as though it were a commissioned photograph of a world leader... when I say she takes hundreds of shots at every gig Imean that literally.... she also makes all our promo fliers and posters for all Jay's projects, for Jay and my projects together,.. and she even makes fliers for me for my solo stuff.... she's cool.
