I thought Rio was a shoe in from the beginning. US friendly time zone, first ever Olympics in South America, interesting city, etc. I thought Tokyo and Chicago were kind of bland in comparison.

I believe it was overnight, including those 15 hours. Probably not a lot of time to see the sights, tho.

I'll bet that issue will be resolved by the time the Olymics start up. I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot more flights open up.
