My greets! I’ am from Belarus. And I say, the existence of dictatorial Belarus on the border with free Europe is absurdity. Through the efforts of Lukashenka Byelorussians still live under conditions reminding me the socialist camp. The Belarusian government continues to exert excessive control over civil society: some public events are banned; peaceful demonstrators are fined and detained; civil society activists and journalists are harassed. Thus the Belarusian regime, tries to disunite people by all means, to make people live in their world of every day problems and ordinary goals isolated from public interests. Solidarity of the heads of the European countries and all European politicians in defending human rights and democratic freedoms in Belarus now is vital for Belarusian people. The EU cooperation with the current political regime in Belarus is simply out of the question!
