Thanks for the link to the manual. Next question....in the body where the drain line screws in, there is a clip, two prongs, that is inserted there in the body. What does it do, should it be in or out? Side point, I have regenerated a couple of times but the water does not seem to be softened, and there is brine in the lines after completion. Any thoughts?
You're better off with hard water. Throw the thing away and just drink it au naturel. Hard water is full of calcium and magnesium - things your body needs!
