I haven't read the rest of the thread yet, but I'd be tempted to just say that, to swing the room around -

CAN'T (YOU) UNDERSTAND THAT I CANNOT UNDO SEVEN YEARS OF HORROR WITH A FEW GLIB ANSWERS AND FIX THE KID TOMORROW?

I think - and this is long term - that you could be writing books and doing a lot of good, perhaps not just locally.

You know why I am so stirred up?

I was em-bare-assed.

I felt like a dork...the demand was unreasonable, but there i was, a poor bare forked animal unable to gather her thoughts properly and analyse and make sense of things quickly enough to respond properly.

I am no emperor, but my clothes disappeared anyway.

Hell hath no fury like a bare-assed Wabbit.

Was today's skool experience an improvement on yesterday's. (Hope so!)

It was a little spooky.


This was a christian school.

I found them rather intrusive on the private space of the child's therapy...but the parents were perfectly happy for me to talk about it.

This was the place that wanted the crystal ball.
