Anyone card carrying Librarything members?

Never heard of the damn thing.

I did Librarything briefly. I found the database too cumbersome and not to my liking. The whole endeover became more like a contest (look at me, I've read a gazillion books) rather than for enjoyment, I spent too much time marking the books I read, which is time consuming and kind of silly.

Besides, I prefer a face-to-face conversation about books.
