I have a rainsoft water softner. the cycles appear to be out of sort. I lost power when it was trying to regenerate and when power came back on it started up but didnt send water to brine tank. when the regen finished water keeps going to the brine tank and wont stop.is there a way to advance the step it is in or should I pull all power and just re program the timer

hopefully by now you have figured out what the problem might be. If not need to know a model number to help you out. If it has a batter,it's a q2 and yes I'd pull the plug, pull the battery,let it sit for a minute, put in a fresh battery, and reprogram the system. If it's a gold series just pull the plug for a minute and see if that fixes it.
