What are some Franco-American traditions that could be incorporated into a festival to celebrate this culture?

I don't really think there are very many "Franco-American" traditions.

My favorite oxymoron!

Is this about things America stole from France or what France stole from America?

I wish America would steal their health care system, attitudes about sex, food and public transportation. I can't think of anything France would want to steal from us.

Where is the festival?
If it's closer to Quebec or New Orleans, it probably makes a difference.

true in England as well, fortunately that's a major improvement in english cuisine. given a choice between bangers and mash or a quarter-pounder with cheese I'd have to take the um well perhaps there's pretzels at the pup.

From a revue of Euro Disney
Quote:
Any sort of "European" flavor is otherwise lacking at Disneyland Paris, though, apart from the ready availability of wine and beer, an un-American tolerance for cigarette smoke, and the cool demeanor of the park employees. (I learned later that employees were trained initially to be as bright and cheerful as their American counterparts but Europeans found all those smiling faces too spooky.)

I could present you an economic and a sociological study on fast foods in France, which contradicts what you imply.

But I try to make my posts shorter than twenty words.

In addition, it's a subject with minute interest to me..
