I've heard that A2K as a community is dying.

Well, I'm going to do my part. What would a community be without gossip and snarky comments? Besides, I'm feeling like a bit of a bastard right now.

So, who else thinks that, for being such a manly man, Hawkeye sure does spend a lot of his time whining like someone took away his favorite dolly?

Food...AND...gossip? I'm in!

Here, I brought some chocolates and a box of pinot grigio.

Did anybody else hear what I heard? Gus is moving to Arizona or some such place without his capybaras? What happened to them, I wonder?

You mean Francia has added pinot grigo to their lineup of fine boxed wine? Works for me.

Pot luck type dinners are big here in the Sandwich Isles (well, on the island of Hawaii, at least). I brung a can of Spam, a local delicacy.

I've brought moose cheeks and beaver tails. No gossip though, I'm always the last to know.

I think so!

And I only brought chocolate. Better scarf some up before I eat it all myself.

I think hawkeye is typing from the state penitentiary and fantasizes about his
female warden Mrs. Brtsznevkovski extensively, but don't quote me...

Gustav should rot in hell, which is actually in Arizona - he let us down dearly.
Tico is employed as Cerberus there (in hell).

I also heard that MsOlga won the lottery. She's got a satellite dish now and
high speed internet. The nerve.....

I think the idea that Hawkeye would actually have the guts to follow through on his little fantasies is laughable.

I hear that some places in Australia have managed to break the three-times-dialup barrier.

Also, I hate Francis. Europe's broadband speeds are ridiculously high.

I'm old enough to remember watching Marx Brothers movies where Groucho said that. Does that count?

Somebody pass the chocolate, please.
