LITERACY and COMPUTER IGNORANCE

I am an ignoramus about computers.
Everyone on line knows more about computers than I do.
I just use them as typewriters.

Can I get some advice on the best ways
to become computer savvy ?

Adopt someone younger that 15.

I have to call my grandson for internet, cable, and cell phone issues - and even setting the clocks in my car and on the stove.

He calls me for homework, rides, and when he wants home cooking.

If all you need is a typewriter, then you already have what you need. I take it you want to do something more, but being "computer savvy" is a very wide topic. What would you like to know about? I find the best way to learn is to have a specific project in mind. Some suggestions:

- Learn a programing language with a goal to make a simple game.
- Create your own web page, either by typing in basic html or by using an editor. Bonus points: add PHP code (see programing language above.)
- Build your own computer. It's a lot easier than you think

THANK U, Engineer.
I will give your suggestions very earnest consideration.
I had not thought of those possibilities.
