I have a dog and her name is Pearl
I adopted her from the animal shelter on Airport Road which has since been renamed Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Chapel Hill North Carolina in
the month of August 2001. She was six months old then - she is 8 years old now and she is one of the best friends I've ever had.

We didn't know her exact birth date because she was a stray - so my son and daughter decided to give her Valentine's Day as a birthdate so we named her:
Pearl Valentina Patrick - and as I've said - she's one of my best friends ever:

(But I'm making all this up....) Laughing Laughing
(not really - you can take this to the bank)

It's a girl. Name of Punky. I got her at the SPCA at three months old. She has a doggie door where she likes to lie in the cold air with her face outside. That way she can watch for the pesky squirrel that teases her.

I have a dog too! Her name is Lilly and she's about 10 months old. We got her
from an animal shelter.

I have a kitty named Lily.

And another named Kato.

And a dog named Koda. He is just a baby and a menace (lovable one). The cats are old - Kato is an old grump. They cannot stand the puppy. But the puppy insists on chasing/playing with them - it is quite a source of amusement to see our prior pampered cats being harassed by a puppy.

I don't believe in dogs. They are vile, and they slobber on you. I would never have a dog in my home.

Yes it is! When he was a kitten (before he got fat and old and grumpy), he used to hide out and dive bomb my other cat. The name was quite fitting.
