Which composer used to sign off after conducting his radio concerts with a goodnight message to his spaniel who was apparently listening at home?

Homework sucks when you haven't been paying attention in class, don't it?

I bet it's a trivia contest and not homework, but don't let that stop your instinct to be a jerk.

Ah, but i could never match your flair for being a jerk--it seems to be genetically ingrained with you, Bubba.

I don't know the answer but I found the source of the question. It's number 48 on the Great Brain Quiz no 184 (pdf)

Yes it is and the organiser has repeatedly asked those who participate NOT to ask questions from his quizzes (GFQ and GBQ) on sites like this. Sophocles is determined to ignore that request.

For weeks now, people have been showing up to ask that we don't supply answers to such quizzes, because those asking them are attempting to take an unfair advantage. I am as disinclined to supply them the answers to such quizzes as i am to provide homework help to someone who won't make at least some effort on their own.

Reminds me of the early days of the Marlboro threads.

I have never paid much attention to the quizz threads, but i have seen messages such as Newbyquizzer posted while i was posting before--and i intend to honor the request.
