USE A CALCULATOR> DO WE HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING FOR YOU? QUESTIONS LIKE THIS ARE USUALLY HOMEWORK. IF SO, DO YOUR HOMEWORK YOURSELF. IF NOT, I'VE GIVEN YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELF, IN YOUR OTHER THREAD, WHICH YOU CALLED "QUARE FEET IN AN ACRE".

Hell, just go to Wikipedia and you don't even need to think. It's right there, just search for, what else, "acre." Sheesh.

It's a simple question with a simple answer, I think that if you want to provide "teaching moments" instead of the answer it isn't as helpful as providing both.

I get the whole "teach a man to fish" thing, and agree with it in principle, but I don't think you did a very good job at that so I gave the simple answer as well.

an acre was derived from a measure of "cropland" which was a furlong by a chain in dimension. Today, we have no shape in mined , just the area is important. In Mideaval England , the "shape" of an acre was where it all started.
Find a furlong and a chains dimensions and youll have your answer.
