I'm gonna veg out in front of the tube and watch Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and stuff. I'm not even gonna walk the dog or answer the phone. I might have a snack and beverage.

The couch is firm and large, the floor to ceiling windows look out onto mountains and ocean, the French doors open to the balcony, and that's good enough for me!

Since we live nearby you should be getting the good weather too. Sometimes it's best to de-stress, nice and simple!

By "good weather", you must mean cooool, cloudy, hint of a breeze type weather? Laughing

That I can do all year round, thanks!

If on the other hand, you mean that hot 30+ degree Celsius crap, hmmm, we would be living in two different dimensions. Wink

Where I am it's warm (but not too warm) clear, crisp, and cloudless; that's up Indian Arm way. Where you are maybe is different?

Rio Bravo is on channel 53 (but I've seen it too many times)
John Wayne, Dean Martin, Ricky Nelson, Angie Dickinson, Walter Brennan

True Grit is on channel 46 (but I've seen it too many times)
John Wayne, Glen Campbell, Kim Darby, Jeremy Slate, Robert Duvall

It's dusk and a bat just flew by the window, Ben Stone is trying to convict three rapists. Mrs Chumly is staying over at her Mom's, she's been calling me but I have the answering machine on with the volume off and the ringers off too.

Thanks for small mercies, does your compassion extend to keeping her permanently?

Abbotsford. It's usually warmer in the Fraser Valley - the further you get away from the water. In the winter time though, we have the lovely arctic outflow winds (I would like to have them in the summer).

The last 2 weeks (before a couple of days ago) has been great out here. today, it's supposed to be 31, getting cooler again after Friday.
