The Ravens/Packers game was just plain ugly. The two teams ranked tops in the NFL for penalties racked up 310 yards last night, the 2nd most in NFL history. The Packers tallied 175 yards while the Ravens got tagged for 135 yards - including 5 pass interference penalties.
Baltimore committed 4 turnovers.
Week #13 was not good for us as a group. It wasn't our worst week. At .614 it in fact was only our 6th worst week...or 7th best.
Spendius did phenomenally well, going 13-3 with wrong picks of New England, Pittsburgh and Minnesota.
Jespah, Mysteryman, Liontamerx, JPinMilw, Fox, Panzade and Clubber finished at 11-5.
A whole slew of folks came in at 10-6. Lmur, Edgar, Alex, Wandeljw, JPB, Region, ElStud, Ragman, Miz Cowdoc, Tico and Maporsche.
George, Fbaezer and Johnboy managed to stumble in at 9-7. In negative territory, at 7-9, were Rhyss, Osso, Cowdoc and McGentrix.
EhBeth correctly picked the Thursday game but forgot to come back for the rest.
The best ESPN expert went 10-6 while the worst broke even at 8-8.
I gotta say. This week was the toughest for me.

(As a total aside, I am exhausted after a brutal Cville Planning Commission hearing re the "Roof" project I am working on. 6 stories with residential from 3-6. The code allowed only 16 units, which meant each of them would be 2500 sq ft. Not at all what I wanted.
The new code allows for something like 40 units of 1000 sq ft.
Could you, as a single person or maybe with a spouse, live in 1000 sq ft? One block from UVA hospital where you might work?
The PC went round & round about that for 90 minutes, with some of them describing it as being no bigger than a dorm room. Grr. They never looked at the interior design.
In the end, they voted unanimously in favor of the modification to 40, but with a couple of amendments that made them happy.)

Well.......talk about an insult! Not included in the standings......I am cut and hurt beyond anything you can imagine. Maybe a few dollars or some special gift will ease the pain.
