help can you show me how this is done ?
You buy a bag of garden fertiliser to use in the watering can and you suspect it contains a quantity of sand. Use a series of labelled diagrams to show how you could demonstrate this is true.?

Hmmn, not sure it's any help to you but the fertiliser would dissolve whilst the sand wouldn't.
I'm guessing this is what they wan't you to show.
i.e. stir the mix in water, wait, sand collects at bottom.
