Rooftop problems Jaguar XK8-1999

When it rains it pours, Yesterday i got help from you solving my battery problems. Now the following happened.
A female friend of mine is driving a Jaguar xk8 and wanted to let down the rooftop today. When you activate the switch, the "hook" should release it self and then the top automatically "rolls down". Not so this time and she might have been holding the "switch" too long. Whatever, soon after, oil came dripping down and also spread left and right under the ceiling.
Is there an hydraulic oil reservoir up there that might have burst?
What cost might she expect to fix that ( she is out of warranty) and finally, did somebody else ever experience similar problems?
