The reason I know English spelling is absurd is because I make so many spelling mistakes. If it made any sense, I would not misspell words. I speak as a expert of misspelled words. c.i.
Spelling mistakes are there and it is not so bad.
But English language is diluted/enriched/developed.
American English is not Canadian one nor australian.
Indian English is not queen's English or oxfordian one.
African English is not swedish one.
