Armenians are second brand people both in Georgia and Ukraine. Well. my green years in Georgia were marred by scornful attitude of the local authorities and scoffing by Georgian schoolmates with the older folks not even trying to stop them. With Saakashvili’s coming to power in Georgia it got even worse. My father, surgeon by profession, was actually forced out of the hospital he’d been working for some 30 years. And he failed to find any other job.
Well …relatives settled in Ukraine embraced us all to live in Lviv, western Ukraine. And here I’m staying jobless for 3 years already (I can teach maths). It’s absolutely unfriendly environment here. They may well deny you a ticket in the theatre or service in a local cafe or shop. I am really scary soon you may face special signs “Only for native Ukrainians”!
Several days after that ordeal in eastern Ukrainian city of Martganets where some Armenian stubbed a young policeman with the knife I was attacked and beaten up just near my house. Now I prefer to stay inside especially when it gets dark.
Jews and Russians are feeling no better here far as I know. They say acting presidents of Georgia and Ukraine were trained in western democracy by western experts. They seem to have taught them xenophobia!
I am turning to you my Armenian brothers. Perhaps you’ve got some relevant experience and can give some good piece of advice how to make governments of Georgia and Ukraine respect Armenians. Hope for your help….

Sockavillain is another creature of George Soros, as is Oinquebama... What would you expect?
