I miss him, too.

An imaginative and entertaining writer, but I heard his activities got him into some bother.

McTag. do tell. He's definitely missed, people's comments above seem to suggest there's a chance he might show up again someday, a consummation devoutly to be wished, unlike, I'm afraid, Timberlandko, also missed, with no possibility of return.

He seems to become the British "Elvis" - there are sightings everywhere,
however the one and only will remain absent. The last contact address I had,
seems to be out of order.

His absence certainly is a tremendous loss for us - for him it probably it's
all for the best!

I get these waves of nostalgia when I run across his threads.

Don't get me wrong. I liked Ellpus a lot & enjoyed his posts & also enjoyed the odd PM exchange, but ...

... I also value lots of other A2K posters, too. Frankly, I'd find it damn near impossible to declare that any one poster here was "the most important"! Different A2Kers are valued for all sorts of different reasons. I have a huge fondness for many posters here.

And if Lord Ellpus chooses not to post here any more, for whatever personal reasons ... well, I respect that, despite missing his posts.
